At M4, we’re avid video gamers. We also like zombies. So it goes without saying that we’re currently really enjoying Left 4 Dead 2 by Valve. And when we discovered that solo game developer Eric Ruth has released a tribute NES-style video game of Valve’s award winning Left 4 Dead title, well – we couldn’t be more excited.

Paying homage to classic 8-bit games, this fun "de-make" comes complete with 4-track audio, 16 incredible colors, melee weapons, special zombies, and all playable maps from the original title. The game does not disappoint, and adequately answers the question, "What would Left 4 Dead have been like on the Nintendo Entertainment System?"

The game is free and can be downloaded from Eric Ruth’s website, ericruthgames.com.
